4. Joe Adams: I haven't finished the video yet (had to make dinner), so thanks for this. That's an interesting way of having a talent. Will definitely make the spec less of a faceroll, which I like.

Jacob freed: I think you would have done considerably more damage using any talent other than mongoose bite on that row, using glaives instead of infusion, using the 2nd talent in the second row and using the far right talent in the first row. Mongoos bite barely does more than base raptor strike at full stacks to say the least. I’d love a new video with those talents as I think you’d be on par with enhancement honestly.

10. Jacky Moon: Try the KC / Raptor strike build. I rek mobs on alpha doing that. I usually get x2 tip of the spear allowing that juicy raptor strike prok.

I do like live survival if they removed the artifact ability and had something like, successful mongoose hits give one charge of mongoose stacking 6 times with a 25-second duration (15 in pvp) + refresh all DoTs. Mastery- Increases crit chance to bleeding targets - and crits against bleeding targets open the wound increasing the speed of bleed. flanking strike can always crit.

16. TBL: I can have a random crossbow but I have two axes and a random spear for my harpoon gahh
17. Pryce 191: I’ve always Mained a Druid with shaman monk and warrior alts. I’m currently levelling up a hunter now for the Highmountain heritage set but I think I may actually main him next expansion.. haven’t played SV in legion so can’t compare but this looks fun. That ranged raptor strike needs to gtfo out though, should be throwing spears or axes. Not sparkly birds.
18. Ima: Survival is perfect now, has been perfect in all legion so far, the real problem is that people do not want to try a class that is not op.

20. Issue: is it possible to play it 2x1h? 2h seems too ridiculous for a hunter...
21. Mathew Chilton: SV is the most fun spec I've played in a long time. It is not, however, perfect. It lacks what its namesake in PvP (survival) and is far too squishy, and the mastery is totally butt. I like the new mastery in BfA, but they've dumbed down the actual playstyle to be like beast master with a sword. Right now it feels great in how fast it plays, how many things I have to keep track of, and the general feel of keeping me active and interested. however a lot of the skills don't have enough weight behind them. Lacerate, explosive trap, caltrops, well everything but mongoose at 4+ stacks and flanking strike feel like they're just there to keep you pressing things, but don't do much else.
22. oxentown: i belive they normalized the dps of the pets. all pets do the same damage now regardless of spec. its just the utility that is different.
23. Clayton Alexander: You're playing wildfire infusion wrong. You need to get guerrilla tactics with it for sure to keep those buffs rolling.
24. Allarian: I think Survival is amazing for constant good dps. Very fun to play. It's just challenging to keep all your dots and stacks up which makes it far from being a braindead spec unlike many others.

26. Eric: Unless the tank pet buff is group wide, its a waste of dps
27. HunterXenios: Sham Wow you can but u can’t use any of the spells cus it requires 2h weapon
28. TBL: maccajoe it was easy to change specs. Took me less then a week to get them caught up. But playing a spec all those years and changing it up is hard to do. Granted it’s just a game but sucks when the thing you liked most about said game isn’t fun anymore. I just swapped and went enhancement shaman and sv hunter
29. Joe Adams: Does the Wildfire Infusion talent rotate its usage every time you use it? Or can you pick which one it uses?

Justin Flesher: iirc @mixelplx said that it does rotate but it's not on a fixed rotation. i don't know the exact percentages but I imagine it's just like rolling a 3-sided die. you have a 33% chance of getting shrapnel bomb, a 33% chance to get pheromone bomb, and a 33% chance to get a volatile bomb.
