The Session 2 focuses particularly on implementing 21st century skills in schools in interdisciplinary ways.
Ms Catherine has 21 years of working experience in the Education Sector. She is a passionate educator who is student-focused and is one of the teachers in the school responsible for preparing students for their SPM Examinations particularly in the subject she teaches - English.
“One of the main challenges would be teachers. Teachers need to change, and that there is need to engage to students in class in getting them interested.” Catherine underlines the importance of using the 21st century tools in order to generate a better teaching. The role of teachers would be to teach their students how to properly use all these technological tools. She also emphasizes the necessity to attend workshops to better understand what are the new ways of teaching at schools, and to bring more interest in a classroom.
